Best poster award at M2D

Andrew M’manga received the best poster award for his work on “Eliciting persona characteristics for risk-based decision making” at the Model to Decision (M2D) 2018 annual conference held in Cambridge.

M2D aims to provide a forum for researchers and decision-makers from a wide range of disciplines to come together to discuss topical challenges in the area of decision making under uncertainty, in scenarios where decision makers are informed by models

Andrew’s research explores design techniques for facilitating security decision making during risk and uncertainty. The presented work addressed this by detailing an approach to grounding persona characterises in risk-based decision making data. The study was part of Andrew’s Dstl funded doctoral research on design for risk-based decision making.
